Public transport is easily accessible too: a 5-minute stroll to the central bus interchange. Only a short walk down Marcus Clarke Street will take you to gym facilities are available at Club Lime, and Canberra Olympic Pool is only an 8-minute walk away. This property is one street from the campus however directly opposite University Avenue which is the main pathway to access the entire campus.

Academie House consists of 90 fully-furnished studio apartments. These studios are perfect for university students as they are furnished with study desks, internet connection, and kitchen and reverse cycle air-conditioning to ensure an environment that is conducive to academics.

With public transport right on the doorstep to Academie House, students are able to travel comfortably and conveniently to nearby shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. On the ground floor of this building you will find a restaurant, café, hairdresser and a Healthcare facility. Across the road is a small supermarket, café and florist. Get your culture fix at one of Belconnen Arts Centre’s regular exhibitions, then escape to nearby Lake Ginninderra to enjoy a picnic beside the water. You can keep fit on the lake’s scenic trails, or spend hot summer days swimming and chatting on its beaches.
